Cây được đặt trong sân quán cà phê của người thân, chiếm trọn khoảng sân gần 70 m2. Với chiều cao khoảng 6 mét, tán rộng gần 10 mét, phần gốc có đường kính hơn 120 cm, cây mai gây ấn tượng mạnh bởi dáng vẻ cổ thụ, vững chãi. Hai nhánh chính có bề hoành lần lượt là 66 cm và 42 cm.
